A Day at the Farm

Auckland, New Zealand - October 5, 2012

Today we went to a working farm.  It smelled really bad and was very cold.  When we got there first I went to the milking area were they milk cows.  One of the cows was being very stubborn. I could tell she was in pain - she probably had mastitis. You'll find out what that means in the video below.

Then we went to see the goats and sheep.  They were very cute but I was upset when I stepped in poo.  The sheep licked me so much I was drowning in wet spit.  The wool on the sheep was so soft I wanted to go to sleep. 

We did learn a lot about sheepskin and wool.

Then we got to feed the goats.  Every time I fed them another one came and ate it.  I felt bahhhhhhhhhd when I had to say good bahhhhhhhhhhhhhhy.

So we went to see the pigs they were so big and we also saw baby pigs drinking  it's moms milk.One had really short legs.  They are so cute. I can't wait what tomorrow brings!
