Activities Non-Stop

January 10 2013 - Bariloche, Argentina

Today started in a canoe.  We went canoeing in glacier water.  The water was freezing cold and was so clear.  The view from behind the canoe was incredible.  There were mountains and glaciers. It was kind of hard paddling but it really was a blast.

After we decided to get in the water, I knew I would regret it badly.  This water would be FREEZING COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Then I did it once I felt like I would die.  Every time I jumped I bumped into sea grass.  I was not as cold because I was wearing a wetsuit but it was still very cold.

Watch the video below.

My sister and I pushed my dad in without a wetsuit.  Hehehe.

Next we jumped in the pool.  We met two really nice girls. We played many games and had a great time together.  They were from Mendoza.  That's in Argentina and is known as the wine country.

Then is when the super fun kicked in.  We went to go played archery.  It was my first time and I was very excited.  We had to take very large bow in arrows just like the on Cupid uses.  Then we would take arrows and shoot.  We still had to put safety clothes so we would not get hurt.  I hit a perfect aim the first time and kept shooting arrows.

Just when I thought it was over my the instructor added balloons to the target.  I thought it was impossible but the BOOM!!! My dad popped it like it was a piece of cake.  No matter how hard I tried I could not pop the balloon.  I think the best shot I did was when my arrow hit the tippy top of a tree.  When it was over my face was cherry red I looked like a huge cherry.

When that was over we were going to the room and I started talking to this nice gentleman.  As it turns out he was a very famous comedian named Don Francisco.  He is from Chile but lives in Miami.  He is on a TV show called Sabado Gigante.

Then my mom took us zip lining.  Well, she thought it was zip lining but it was really repelling.  That's when you climb down a very high rock.  I was wearing a harness and was attached to a rope.  I was so excited while my mom was trembling in fear.

Today was really activities none stop but it was a blast.  I don't think I have ever done more activities in my life.  My favorite of the whole day was archery and repelling.  Really the whole day was great.
Tomorrow we will go on a tour to the mountains.  I can't give you too much information because I am not a hundred percent sure either, I guess you will have to read to find out.
