Arriving in Paradise

Today started in a big, bumpy plane. We were going from Mendoza to Chile. On the way we saw many of the Andes. The Andes are mountains that border South America. The Andes are huge but the biggest part of the Andes is Aconcagua. 

Finally when we arrived in Chile it was time for lunch.  We were only going to be there for four hours. We spans those hours eating.  It was hard to believe we were in Chile.  Well, not any more.  It was time to take another plane from Chile to Uraguay.  We went on the plane, but it was not at all as bumpy as the first.  That's not all - the Andes view was so much bigger and closer. 

One at the airport in Montevideo, we hopped into a car and went to the hotel. I was not so excited.  I knew it was going to be an adult hotel with nothing for kids.  

Well, it was proven wrong when I took my first step.  I first walked in and that's when I saw a huge pool.  It was begging for me to go in.  That's not all.  The pool also had lights so it looked like stars at night.  I went in and I did thirty laps.  

I loved the pool and I knew this is what I would be doing everyday.  That was until I heard about the kids club.  It did not have much but it had a ping pong table and that was enough.  When I first played I was awful but now I am getting better. 

So I decided I am doing the pool, kids club, and ........... horseback riding.  

OK, not just any horseback riding.  It was the best one I have ever done. When we first walked in the farm, a thousand dogs came up to me and sniffed me.  I got them away by massaging their ears.  

When I finally got them away, I saw the most beautiful horse. I was not supposed to get that horse but I begged and I finally got the horse. When I got the horse I called him Adam Sandler because he had hair like Adam Sandler.  His real name was Mala Cara. That means ugly face in Spanish.  He had something in common with me, that was that he loved going fast.  So I was in the lead.  I cantered the whole way and passed many cows.  The cows looked like blobs at the speed I was going. The best part was when he did a jump.  I went flying but it was a blast.  I am going to go horseback riding every day.  That includes tomorrow.  I am going to ride for two hours. 

After horseback riding, we went to dinner.  It would have been a miSTEAK not to go to dinner here.  We went to a barbecue.  There was so much steak (asado).  Man, the dinner was incredible.  

Really, the whole hotel was amazing.  It looked just like a bigger version of my house.  It actually used to be a house. It ended up being to big so they made it a hotel.  Today was amazing but tomorrow will be filled with surprises.
